Amateur radio is one of Carl's hobbies.  Carl was first licensed in 1964 while a student at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  His call sign at that time was WA0LNL.  His current call sign is W4UOA.  He particularly enjoys working international stations which are call DX and the new digital modes like PSK-31 and Slow Scan TV (SSTV).  This page will be updated periodically to report on new activities.
